CEREALS DESINFECTION

Carbon Dioxide has a bactericidal effect when subjected to high pressure, which causes CO2 dissolution on the insects’ larvae, destroying the larvae during the decompression process and preventing its proliferation.

FISH FARMING AND TRANSPORT

For the fish growth and health is essential that the water has the necessary Oxygen level, in order to allow the reduction of the effects that the tiredness and the water movement cause on the farming and transport. Oxygen injection on the water may triplicate the efficiency.

LIVESTOCK STUNNING

Carbon Dioxide is used to anesthetize the animals for slaughter, achieving their total or partial stunning. Anesthesia may be reversible if you take the animal for normal atmosphere,allowing the animal to breathe and recover in short time - or irreversible, causing the death on a few minutes. The advantages of this process are:

• Stress reduction of the animal, leading to a highest quality of the meat
